Vertebroplasty & Kyphoplasty
Compression fractures can be extremely painful to deal with. The Spine Intervention Services at Valley Radiology Consultants provides two ways to handle this condition: Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty. Vertebroplasty is a novel outpatient procedure utilizing an injection of bone cement into a fractured vertebrae. In Kyphoplasty, a balloon is used to expand the bone, restoring bone height before cement injection.
